Gwelir y testun Cymraeg isod.

Mr William R Eynon already had two large shops in High Street, Fishguard. Both shops sold ironmongery and a large variety of household goods.

This photograph shows the branch of his shop in Main Street, Goodwick, next to the Post Office, which sold similar items and was run by Mr J.M  Nicholas (pictured) of Stop & Call.

At what point Mr Nicholas invested in the business so that he was proprietor, rather than just manager is not known, but, in the 1939 register, Mr J.M Nicholas was listed as being “An Agricultural and Hardware Shop Manager”, so it must have been after 1939. By 1958, the business had altered it’s name to ‘J M Nicholas, General Ironmonger.’

Roedd gan Mr William R Eynon ddwy siop fawr ym Mhenucha’r Dre, Abergwaun. Roedd y ddwy yn gwerthu nwyddau haearn ac amrywiaeth fawr o nwyddau cartref.

Mae’r llun hwn yn dangos cangen arall, sef, ei siop yn Main Street, Wdig. Roedd siop London House drws nesaf i’r Swyddfa Bost, ac roedd yn gwerthu eitemau tebyg i siopau Abergwaun. Cai ei rhedeg gan Mr J.M  Nicholas (yn y llun) o Stop & Call.

Ar ba adeg y buddsoddodd Mr Nicholas yn y busnes fel mai ef oedd y perchennog, yn hytrach na’r rheolwr yn unig, nid ydym yn gwybod, ond, yng nghofrestr 1939, rhestrwyd Mr J.M Nicholas fel “Rheolwr Siop Amaethyddol a Chaledwedd”, felly rhywbryd ar ôl 1939 y daeth yn berchennog, mae’n rhaid. Erbyn 1958, roedd y busnes wedi newid ei enw i ‘J M Nicholas, General Ironmonger.’
