A lone man is pictured working on the vast area of stone blocks which edge the Parrog’s curving path leading towards the new Fishguard & Goodwick Harbour development. Was he checking the alignment of the stones? It is not clear what the other huge square stone blocks stacked on the perimeter were used for, but they resemble those which were used for the construction of the Northern and Eastern breakwaters.
On the far RHS can be seen the old life boat shed. This was demolished and a new shed built in the new harbour premises.
