Wyncliffe Hotel

Looking down past the Wyncliffe Hotel
Ian Evans
Casgliad’Ein Hanes’ Collection

An unusual view of the harbour – looking down past the Wyncliffe Hotel with one of the new steamers, a prominent feature.

This must have been taken shortly after the harbour opened in 1906 and before work started on developing the Bay Hotel.

Also, seen in the second picture a view from the direction of the Parrog.

Golygfa anarferol o’r harbwr – gan edrych i lawr heibio Gwesty’r Wyncliffe gydag un o’r stemars newydd yn nodwedd amlwg.

Mae’n rhaid bod hwn wedi’i gymryd yn fuan ar ôl i’r harbwr agor yn 1906 a chyn i’r gwaith o ddatblygu Gwesty’r Bae ddechrau.

Hefyd, gwelir yn yr ail lun, y gwesty o gyfeiriad y Parrog.
