The bottom of the short cut

The short cut to Goodwick

These photographs show the houses at the bottom of the short cut, and the view over to Goodwick. These houses still stand today, and the steep steps leading down to them have been renewed and a hand rail provided! The story is that some of the French soldiers killed during the French Invasion of 1797 are buried near the short cut.
