Two early photographs of Dyffryn, Goodwick .

The first photograph appears to show the cottage at the corner of Dyffryn on the road in from Manorowen ( now known as Gwenallt)  although we cannot be totally sure. Many people recall it under it’s previous name of Dyffryn Villa.
However, no record of Dyffryn Villa can be found on the census, so we must assume there was another name to the small cottage when it was built . The newly built railway embankment is clear to see behind the cottage. The  photograph forms part of the D L Llewellyn collection of local photographs.

The second photograph shows the road leading into Dyffryn from the Goodwick side with Railway Terrace on the right , Cross Street on the left . It is interesting to see the Circus poster on the garage wall.
