View from the Cw/New Hill of Goodwick Square

This view of Goodwick/Glendower Square was taken from the bottom of the Cw/New Hill by Mrs M Sandy.  As can be seen from the caption, Mrs Sandy was a member of Henner W.I. Maybe this photograph was taken as part of a project or competition?

On the LHS can clearly be seen the businesses of the time (1980s). The Rose and Crown and Hope and Anchor public houses are still trading and have become popular “eateries”. The Chemist shop on the square is still in business, and in the 1980’s would have been run by Mr T Hayden John.
