A present from Goodwick

This image, taken by D L Llewellyn, is a family in their Sunday best.

The lady is proudly wearing what must be her very best hat (possibly her only one!) and is adorned with necklace and rings with lace at her sleeves. The man is equally smart in a patterned waistcoat with a fancy tie and a watch chain.

The little girl proudly holds a spade and bucket with the motto ” a present from Goodwick”

Were they local or visitors to the area?  The cottage behind them doesn’t look like a boarding house so perhaps it was where they lived.  Just to the right of the lady can be seen what appears to be a leather case perhaps belonging to the photographer.
