Dabricius's Cave Drawing in full - 1799

This is a drawing named ‘Dabricius’s Cave’ which was located somewhere in Fishguard in 1799. I am unaware where this cave is located and where the name originates from.

Any information would be much appreciated!

  • The cave is/was within the private grounds of Plas Glynymel in Lower Fishguard. It is so-named because the site was supposed to be the birthplace of St Dyfrig whose name in Latin became Dubricius. A pond called Pwll Dyfrig is close by.
