Carnifal y Cwm / Gwaun Valley Carnival

Dyma gasgliad o luniau a dynnwyd gan Mr Chris Taylor, gohebydd papur ‘The County Echo’ am flynyddoedd mawr. Ymddangosodd pob un ohonynt yn y papur yn ei dro. Ond pwy sydd yn y lluniau, a phryd tynnwyd pob un? Os wes gyda chi wybodaeth, mae croeso i chi hala neges wrth glicio o dan y bocs hwn.

Ers i Mr Taylor ymddeol, mae’r lluniau wedi bod o’r golwg mewn bocs, ond, erbyn hyn, maen nhw iw gweld yng Nghanolfan Treftadaeth ‘Ein Hanes’ ar Sgwar Abergwaun. Croeso i chi alw yno er mwyn edrych arnynt. Mae casgliad helaeth o ardaloedd Tydrath, Croesgoch, Treletert ayb. Hefyd, mae nifer sy’n dangos gweithgareddau y Ffermwyr Ifanc yn lleol. Diolch yn fawr i Mr Taylor am rhannu’r lluniau.

This is a collection of photographs taken by Mr Chris Taylor, reporter for ‘The County Echo’ paper for many years. Each of them appeared in the paper in turn. Since Mr Taylor’s retirement, the pictures have been sitting in a box, but, now, they are to be seen at the ‘Ein Hanes /Our History’ Heritage Centre on Fishguard Square. You are welcome to call there to look at them. There is an extensive collection of photos from Newport, Croesgoch, Letterston etc. etc. There are also a number that show  ‘Young Farmers Club’ activities locally.
