I think but don’t have proof that Nansi Bateman was living in one of the bungalows along Llanychaer Road near the Fishguard Laundry; she was the sister in law of my aunt Ivy Bateman of Ty Gwyn Llanychaer Roadwho ran Fishguard Laundry just off Llanychaer Road, When my parents and I visited Fishguard after WW2 my cousin Jean would usually take me to visit Nansi.
