A group of local women / Merched lleol

Nothing is known about why this group of women had their picture taken. What ties them as a group? However, they can be named, and maybe some one will recognise their relatives in the photograph?Nid oes gennym syniad sut na pham y cafodd y grŵp yma o fenywod lleol eu llun wedi ei dynnu. Beth sy’n eu clymu at ei gilydd? Fodd bynnag, gellir eu henwi, ac efallai y bydd rhywun yn adnabod eu perthnasau yn y llun?

  • I think but don’t have proof that Nansi Bateman was living in one of the bungalows along Llanychaer Road near the Fishguard Laundry; she was the sister in law of my aunt Ivy Bateman of Ty Gwyn Llanychaer Roadwho ran Fishguard Laundry just off Llanychaer Road, When my parents and I visited Fishguard after WW2 my cousin Jean would usually take me to visit Nansi.
