Fishguard, the Unity Hall - Mrs Bye's retirement

This photograph, probably taken in the Unity Hall, Fishguard, is of a presentation to Mrs Edie Bye of a clock!  Was the occasion Mrs Bye’s retirement from her position in Goodwick post office where she had held the position of postmistress?

The lady making the presentation is Mrs Burgess.  Mr Burgess, is sitting watching the proceedings from the LHS;  he was the head postmaster in Fishguard Post office. Sitting next to Mr Gwilym Bateman (with the dark eyebrows),  is Terry Granger.
