Thanks to Jean Nicholas (Griffiths) most of the pupils in this image of Fishguard Grammar School Choir, taken near to the science lab in the old Grammar School, can be named. The Choir, conducted by Miss Mali Evans, were taught to sing “Orpheus in the Underworld” in preparation for competing in a large eisteddfod held in Lota Park! Does any-one have any more details of this event or the date when it was held?
