We understand that according to present arrangements, it is intended to arrange the opening ceremony of the new marine walk, between Penslade and the French Walk, for Whit Tuesday and it is hoped to organise special attractions with a view to raising funds. An Eisteddfod will be held in the Church Institute in the evening, for which an excellent programme has been arranged, including a champion solo competition for which a prize of £3.3s is offered.
