Dyffryn was once part of the Trefawr estate, recorded in the 1579 Bronwydd papers.The farm lies on the right just down the Cwmyreglwys road from the A487.
Here are two pictures from around 1950. One shows haymaking, with Tom King, Jim Harries, Bryn Jones of Werndew, Willie Harries and Owen John. The other shows Tom Evans with his horse and cart in Dyffryn yard. When Huw and Sonia Thomas acquired the holding in 1985 the land was let to local farmers.
