1942 was the centenary year of Tabor Chapel however due to World War 2, celebrations were put on hold and it wasn’t until 1949 that special services to commemorate the event were held.
This image shows the Sunday School together with other Chapel members.
With special thanks to Mrs Mair Davis of Dinas – a long time member of the Chapel who has been able to name nearly every person in the photograph and even in many instances, where they lived. Where the future married surname of any of the young girls is known, it appears in brackets.
