Paintings by Maureen Perry

For many years the late Maureen Perry lived in Dinas with her husband Samuel: at Felin Werndew by the stream that flows down to Cwm Forest, and later at Cae Bach in the middle of the village, with her photographer son Mike living nearer the coast at Ffynnonofi. Here are two of her Dinas paintings.

The view of Cwmyreglwys is from the 1950s.
The scene in the Freemasons Arms shows a group of “regulars” from 1991.
From L-R they are: Bob Oswin’s son-in-law, Dr. Howell Perkins of 4 The Cross, Gerald Smith of 3 Bay View, Bob Oswin of Cotti Clyd, and Will George of 1 Maesteg.
