| The County Echo newspaper for April 24th 1947 carried a description of the recent local Urdd Eisteddfod which took place at Tabor Chapel vestry at Dinas Cross. Both on stage and homework competitions had been set including recitation and vocal pieces, in unison, duets and groups, piano and drama, writing and art competitions. Members to the age of 25 were allowed to compete. | Roedd papur newydd y County Echo ar gyfer Ebrill 24ain 1947 yn cynnwys disgrifiad o Eisteddfod Gylch yr Urdd a gynhaliwyd yn ddiweddar yn festri Capel Tabor, Dinas Cross. Roedd cystadlaethau llwyfan a gwaith cartref wedi eu gosod gan gynnwys llefaru a darnau lleisiol, yn unsain, deuawdau a grwpiau, piano a drama, cystadlaethau ysgrifennu a chelf. Caniatawyd i aelodau hyd at 25 oed gystadlu. |
