First Wireless Broadcast heard in St.Nicholas ( Tremarchog)
The County Echo reported in January 1925 the residents of St. Nicholas and the surrounding area heard their first radio broadcast lasting about two and half hours in a crowded schoolroom.
The Rev. Arthur Simon Thomas was vicar of Granston and St. Nicholas from 1921 till 1928.
