In this 1960s photograph, Pen Yr Aber estate is under construction. Building started in the late 1950s when several of the large detached houses, in the bottom LHS of the photograph were bought and occupied, by the then staff of the new County Secondary school. (Ysgol Bro Gwaun).

Hello,
I believe the Evans family farmed at Windy Hall. My father told me about a cousin who lost his arm in a baler accident although I’ve since found it could have been a war injury. My great grandmother was Anne Walter Evans who married into the Williams family.
Yes, I would say this was Windy Hall Farm. My grandparents and their 4 children lived there and delivered milk to the residents of Fishguard. They left in 1952 as it was a rented farm and the land was being developed.
Does anyone know if the buildings in the middle of the photo, had been Windy Hall Farm? Just above looks like cow sheds been knocked down, many thanks
