A photo of Robert T William born c 1787 at Pantgwyn, Llanychaer. He was the son of Moses William also of Pantgwyn.
His brother James was my 4 x great grandfather. Robert, his wife Elizabeth and six children sailed from Milford Haven, Pembrokeshire on the ‘Chiviot’ and arrived in Quebec 6 weeks later. They lived in Oneida County for some 7 years before moving to Freedom, Cattarangus, New York.
