Croesgoch International Airport

CROESGOCH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT DEVELOPMENT.

The building stage of the Croesgoch International Airport is about to begin. The main road in the village from the Artramont Arms to Felinwynt farm was widened some three decades ago to enable the latest wide bodied jets to land and depart on the main road. The hedges have been kept low so that the aircraft wings can easily pass over the tops of the hedges.

The lounge will be an upgraded version of the current Farm Stores with the current bus shelter being both the official Departure and Arrival point for European and the transatlantic passengers.

The small circular extension above the roof of the bus stop, on the St. Davids side of the bus shelter is however the give away. As trade grows this will be where the Monorail system will have a terminus and will take passengers to their departure gates and bring arrival passengers for Custom and baggage areas.

Construction work is expected to start at 8.00 a.m. Monday 1st April.

  • This is great news.
Flight times to the US could be cut by six minutes.
Will further growth of the monorail extend to the Pembrokeshire capital ( Fishguard ) ?
Is this going to paid for by a GoFundMe ?
