Trehowell Farm, Goodwick

Trehowell, Goodwick
Caroline Lloyd collection

Trehowell Farm was ransacked by French soldiers during the Last Invasion in 1797. Due in part to a forthcoming wedding, the farm was well stocked with wine and brandy which the soldiers found and consumed.  They therefore did not provide much opposition to local forces and were quickly rounded up.
