Llun 1 – Yma gwelir dwarnod pwysig yn nhymor amaethyddol Pencâr a dwarnod pwysig i amaeth yr ardal gyfan. Daeth peiriant ‘beinder’ newydd, – y cynta o’i fath o fewn y sir i fferm Penysgwarn. Parc llafur Mr Arthur Perkins a welir, ger Garn Fawr.  Mae Arthur yn sefyll tu ôl i’r beinder lle mae Jim Morgan o Rhosycaerau yn eistedd ac yn rheoli’r ddwy gaseg. Ar y dde i Arthur mae ei dad, sy’n dal llaw crwt bach. Hwn yw Lloyd Perkins, mab Arthur. Tair oed yw Lloyd.Mae’r llun yn perthyn i deulu Jim. Treuliodd ei holl fywyd gwaith fel ffermwr ym Mhenysgwarn, gan fyw yn nhŷ uchaf teras Rhosycaerau.

Llun 2 – Gan barhau â’r traddodiad teuluol, dyma Glyn Morgan, un o feibion Jim, gyda Charlotte a Boxer yn ‘Parc Hir’, Llanrian, ger Trefin, gyda simneiau Yr Hen Ficerdy yn y cefndir. Bu Glyn yn ffermio ar hyd ei oes, a magodd ei deulu ei hun yn y Gelli, ger Llawhaden.

Picture 1 – Here is an important day in Pencaer’s agricultural season and more importantly, for agriculture in the wider area. A new ‘binder’, – the first of its kind within the county, came to Penysgwarn farm. Mr Arthur Perkins is overseeing it’s use near Garn Fawr. Arthur stands behind the binder, on which Jim Morgan from Rhosycaerau sits and manages the two mares. To Arthur’s right is his father, who holds a small boy by the hand. This is Lloyd Perkins, Arthur’s son. Lloyd is three years old.

The picture belongs to Jim’s family. He spent all of his working life as a farm hand at Penysgwarn, living in the top house of the Rhosycaerau terrace.

Picture 2 – Carrying on the family tradition, here is Glyn Morgan, one of Jim’s sons, with Charlotte and Boxer in ‘Parc Hir’, Llanrian, near Trefin, with the chimneys of The Old Vicarage in the background. Glyn farmed throughout his life, and raised his own family at Gelly, near Llawhaden.
