Penslade Terrace

Penslade Terrace, Fishguard
Another view of Penslade Terrace showing the top of the Slade or Gwyddwg Y Slad.

These views of Penslade Terrace can be dated to about 1909 when the coming of the railway and the large development of Fishguard and Goodwick harbour necessitated an increase in the building of houses to accommodate the workforce. Long terraces of houses similar to those in the photograph were built upon fields which had previously been pasture land.
