This very clear image of Penslade looks back towards West Street. It was a postcard sent in 1923 from Dwrbach to Trecwn.
The message on the back reads
Dear Mother, Just a few lines to let you know I am all right, hoping you are the same. You can fetch my clogs today as I shant be able to go again
