Hysbyseb am siop Inskin yn Wdig yn Hydref 1972 (The County Echo) An advert for the Inskin shop at Goodwick in 1972
T J Nicholas Penslade Stores (The County Echo 5-10-1972)
Agorodd y ‘Country Store’ ar Star Hill – fel y dywed y cerdyn post hwn, am y tro cyntaf ym 1984 ac mae’n debyg bod y ddelwedd hon wedi’i chymryd tua’r adeg honno. Cyn hynny roedd y siop wedi cael ei hadnabod fel ‘Inskin’ ( mae arwydd bach ar y llawr cyntaf yn dyst i hyn. Busnesau eraill a welir yn y cerdyn post yw siop gigydd Mr Geoff Owen a siop nwyddau Mr Jimmy Nicholas ar gornel Penslade.

Mae hysbyseb 1972 yn y County Echo yn nodi bod gan Wdig siop ‘Inskin’ hefyd. Sefydlwyd ‘Inskin’ gan Ben ac Elizabeth Morris.

‘The Country Store’ on Star Hill – as this advertisement postcard says, first opened in 1984 and presumably this image was taken around that time. Previously the siop had been known as ‘Inskin’ ( a small sign on the first floor bears witness to this. Other businesses seen in the postcard are Mr Geoff Owen’s butcher shop and Mr Jimmy Nicholas’ hardwear siop on the corner of Penslade.

The 1972 advert from The County Echo notes that Goodwick also had an ‘Inskin’ store. ‘Inskin’ was established by Ben and Elizabeth Morris.
