Ocky White staff

A wonderful photograph showing the staff of Ocky White’s , a popular Fishguard clothing store c. 1960. The staff are probably joined here by the staff from the Haverfordwest branch.

Well known and loved throughout Pembrokeshire and further afield, the department stores were founded  in Haverfordwest around 1910, by Octavius White. Locals soon shortened the store’s name to Ocky White, and they traded in Pembrokeshire for more than a century.
