In 1911, Llewelyn George and his family lived above his Drapery business at Commerce House, in West Street, Fishguard. Then, as today, the shop stood between the Temperance Hall (now Theatre Gwaun) and Bethel Chapel (then newly built).
Over the years this premises has been owned by several butchers, two pharmacists, and was until recently a stationer’s shop.
