The Slade in Fishguard was a busy place at the turn of the last century.

Here’s an interesting photograph of the Timber Yard, and some of the workers.

Pictured are (right)  Davi Owen with possibly his father Thomas Owen (centre). Thomas lived at 1 Bank Terrace, The Slade at that time, and one of his occupations listed on the census is a wheelwright.

We do not know the identity of the gentleman on the left. Are you able to help identify him?
