Pipelaying on Fishguard Square

This is believed to be a photograph of the laying of the first piped water supply to Fishguard in around 1910.  There is obviously a lot of interest in the event judging by all those watching!

In the back ground can be seen the Commercial Hotel which is now of course the Abergwaun Hotel. The building that in later years became Barclays Bank still has its balcony at this time.
