Yn yr Hottipass yr oedd Mrs Gwyneth Lewis yn byw. Roedd gan ei gwr a’i frawd, Howard a Phillip Lwis, siop groser yno yn gwerthu tipyn o bopeth. Athrawes wedi ymddeol oedd Gwyneth yn yr 1960au, ond roedd ganddi freuddwyd. Diolch iddi hi, a nifer a oedd yn ei chefnogi, sefydlwyd ysgol feithrin cyfrwng Cymraeg yn Abergwaun, lle roedd angen mawr amdani. Mae’r erthygl papur newydd yn adrodd y stori……. | Mrs Gwyneth Lewis lived at Hottipass. Her husband and his brother, Howard and Phillip Lewis, had a grocers shop in the street selling allsorts. Gwyneth was a retired teacher in the 1960s, but she had a dream. Thanks to her efforts, and many who supported her, a Welsh medium nursery school was established in Fishguard, where it was much needed. The newspaper article tells the story……. |
