  • Salem graveyard, which effectively forms the “back garden” of Salem Cottage, on the LHS of the road down to Strumble Head, has recently been sensitively restored by the owners, who live at nearby Trenewydd. It is now easy to read the gravestone inscriptions to the James, Lewis, Bowen, Morgan, Symmons, Mortimer, Phillips and Matthias families.
