Fishguard -selling flags for the Fishguard National Eisteddfod in 1936

Some young  ladies selling flags for the 1936 Eisteddfod.

L-R    Marjorie Howells of Cardiff, who would have been staying with her Grandparents in Kensington Street. Later she became Mrs Freddy Biggs.

Betty Hodges from Fishguard, later to become Mrs Richard Williams.

Mabel Sayer from Fishguard, later to become Mrs Henry Biggs.

Eira Price from Fishguard, later to become Mrs Leonard Cooke.

Freda Thompson from Fishguard originally, but at this time was living  in London, Every summer she would  stay with her Grandparents at Uwch Y Don Vergam Terrace. Her first marriage was to Mr Norman Black, and her second to Mr Edward Brown.
