Swyddfa Bost Trefaser / Trevasser Post Office.

Dyma lun o 1930, y diwrnod yr agorwyd y Swyddfa Bost yn Nhrefaser. O’r chwith i’r dde gwelir Griff John, Trefisheg; Arnold Lewis, Caerlem; Thomas-siop Trefaser; Emlyn Williams, Pontiago; swyddog o’r Post Brenhinol; John Melville, postmon; Charles Lewis, Tresinwen, gyda’i blant – Mary a Ronald Lewis; Morfydd Rees, Henner; Tom Morgan, Panteurig; Eddie Morris, Bank.

John James Absalom Thomas (17-5- 1908 – 27-2-1995) was born in Trefaser,  and his family ran the shop and post office there. He was Bishop of Swansea and Brecon from 1958 – 1976. He and his wife lived at Ely Tower in Brecon.

After Jack Thomas’ parents finished keeping the shop, it was taken over by Jack’s sister, Miss Abra Thomas. Jack retired  in 1976 and went to Tenby to live. He died in early 1995.

Un o deulu’r siop a’r post yn Nhrefaser oedd John James Absalom Thomas (17/5/ 1908 – 27/2/1995) Bu’n Esgob Abertawe ac Aberhonddu o  1958 – 1976. Bu ef a’i wraig yn byw yn Ely Tower, Aberhonddu.

Wedi i rhieni Jack Thomas orffen cadw’r siop yn Nhrefaser, cymerwyd ef gan ei chwaer, Miss Abra Thomas. Ymddeolodd Jack i Ddinbych y Pysgod yn 1976 a bu farw yn nechrau 1995.
