Perkins family

This fine country house has been the home of the Perkins family for many generations.

It is a listed building dating from the mid 19th century and much of its original features are very evident today.

The photograph of the house was taken by Goodwick photographer, D L Llewellyn and probably dates from between 1900-1910.

Mr Llewellyn also recorded a family group – who lived there at the time. They have been identified as Mr Howell Perkins (1871-1935) and his wife Catherine (nee Griffiths of Castell Cenlas, Mathry 1877 – 1959) together with their young son, Lloyd Perkins (1903 -1976)

With thanks to Mr Edward Perkins for identifying his grandparents, Howell and Catherine Perkins.
