O ‘Y Llien Gwyn’ Rhifyn 1, Hydref 1979 - ffotograffydd - Harold Rees
Llun o 1979 ydy hwn, yn dangos cynulliad o chwiorydd Capeli Bedyddwyr yr ardal. Gwraig y gweinidog yw Mrs Joan Osborne Thomas(yn eistedd, 3ydd o’r dde) Ar y chwith iddi, mae Mrs Mair Garnon James, Llandudoch, y siaradwraig wâdd ar gyfer yr achlysur.  Gwelir Mrs Myfanwy Phillips yn ail or dde yn y res ganol. Mae croeso i chi anfon gair os oes gennych enwau ychwanegol.

Mae y ffasiwn wedi newid yn llwyr ers yr 1970au fel y gwyddom. Yn y llun hwn, does dim trywser i weld, ac erbyn heddi, does dim hetiau!

This is a picture from 1979, showing a gathering of the sisterhood from numerous Baptist Chapels in the area. The minister’s wife is Mrs Joan Osborne Thomas (seated, 3rd from the right) On her left, is Mrs Mair Garnon James, St Dogmaels, the guest speaker for the occasion. Mrs Myfanwy Phillips is seen second from right in the middle row. Feel free to send word if you have any names to add.

Fashion as we know has changed completely since the 1970s. In this picture, there are no trousers to be seen, and as we know, today, there are no hats!

  • Think lady on left side of middle row – ? Jones. Could have been piano teacher living at end of St David’s Place, Goodwick.
