These notices appeared in the County Echo of Thursday, February  8th 1968. At this time, the Echo cost 4d. (4 old pence).

Bethel Sisterhood.  Mrs Tarling presided at Bethel on Tuesday and Mrs Harries took the devotional parts. The Rev. Jones of Spittal was the speaker; he gave an interesting talk on prayer.

Bethel Services.  The services next Sunday – the 11th – will be conducted by the Pastor Rev T. Ivor Davies. Morning service 10.30 a.m with Holy Communion. Young People’s Fellowship 2p.m. Evening Service 6 o’clock. The Sisterhood will meet on Tuesday at 2.15 p.m.
