A celebratory service was held on the September 24th, 2022, at Bethel Baptist Church Fishguard, as Rev Neil Warburton was ordained and inducted as their new minister.
The service was led by Rev Terry Broadhurst from Bethesda Church, Haverfordwest, and the address was given by Rev Dr. Stephen Roberts from Cardiff Baptist College. Also taking part in the service was Rev Marc Owen, Baptist Union of Wales, and Rev Sister Barnabas from Bethel, Fishguard.
Many Church members, friends and representatives from the local community attended, including the Mayor, Sharon McCarney, the local PCSO Carwyn Philips, and members of the other Fishguard Churches.
Bethel Church members & friends had prepared a tasty buffet which was enjoyed by all after the service.
Many thanks to everyone who helped with the celebration, and we pray for blessings for Bethel and for Rev Neil as they begin working together.
